Manager, Energy Access
Luc Severi is Manager of Energy Access at the UN Foundation (UNF), overseeing the work on nexus issues, in particular on energy gaps in the health care sector and the humanitarian sector. Severi manages the UNF's day-to-day activities on its Powering Health Care initiative and is contributing to the Global Plan of Action for Sustainable Energy Solutions in Situations of Displacement. Prior to joining UNF, Severi worked in Mozambique, Senegal and Liberia for several international NGOs and social enterprises, including SolarNow and Save the Children International. Throughout his career, he has worked primarily with renewable energy solutions for off-grid and rural households, schools and health centers. He holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from KULeuven and an MSc Development Management from the London School of Economics.
